Explore our therapies below to find the treatment that's right for you.

Aromatherapy
In my practice I carry out a full body massage using Essential Oils. Essential oils are natural plant extracts which work medicinally to help to improve the health of the body, mind and spirit. The oils are blended personally by me on the premises to tailor the treatment to the individual and their needs, leaving them feeling fully relaxed. The treatment continues as the oils soak into the skin and are inhaled through the limbic system.
Aromatherapy may promote relaxation and help relieve stress. It has also been used to help treat a wide range of physical and mental conditions including burns, infections, depression, insomnia and high blood pressure.

Reflexology
There are points on the feet that are connected to the organs within the body, this system can be used in conjunction with conventional medicine.
The points on the feet are massaged in a very particular way, using thumb walking, this will then alert the practitioner to imbalances within that area, the thumb walking will break down the imbalances and help to bring homeostasis to the body.
The treatment is very relaxing and various items can be used to assist the treatment, such as the original medium of talc, I personally use a specific wax containing essential oils, balms or oils can all be used effectively.
A full consultation is taken prior to your treatment and the necessary amendments made to make the treatment very personal and to meet your individual needs. Ares of imbalance can be identified and passed on to the client, but we are not qualified to diagnose.

Swedish Massage
A Swedish massage is a full body massage designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of the blood returning to the heart. The movements used are referred to as effleurage, petrissage, friction, vibration and tapotement, the movements involve soft long kneading strokes as well as light, rhythmic, tapping on the topmost layers of the muscles... As well as relaxation, Swedish massage also increases the level of oxygen in the blood and improves circulation. by movement of the joints and can also help after injury. Swedish massage is gentler than deep tissue massage but the pressure is is stronger than aromatherapy.

REIKI
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive complementary therapy that supports overall wellbeing by encouraging relaxation, balance and natural healing.
Using light touch or hands positioned just above the body, Reiki aims to promote harmony between mind, body and spirit.
Many people find Reiki helpful for reducing stress, easing tension, improving sleep, supporting emotional wellbeing, and creating a greater sense of calm and clarity. Each treatment provides dedicated time to relax, recharge and restore balance in a peaceful environment.

Indian Head Massage
Indian Head Massage, is based on the ancient healing system of Ayurveda. The massage is performed whilst the client is seated and begins on the upper back, moving up to the shoulders and neck. Each area is massaged using the various massage techniques such as effleurage, tapotement, petrissage and tapping.
Oils are used in Indian head massage to release stress and muscle tension. The treatment then moves up the scalp which is massaged both deeply and gently, concentrating on the hair as well. Oils in the hair are optional but are advisable as they increase hair growth and stimulation to the scalp which can help with headaches, migraines, tension and any other tension problems.
The treatment ends with a full facial massage which also covers the auricular area and full balancing of the chakras.
